Hi, I'm

I'm a journalist and public servant. My work serves us.

I'm curious, skeptical and solutions-focused.

I tell stories because stories connect.

Let's tell stories and build community together!

The 2020/2021 "Work From Home" Reel

These are a few of the segments, specials, live opens, interviews and live news hits I made successful while working as a Producer/Editor for Newsy shows "The Briefing," "Newsy Reports," "Newsy Tonight" and "The Morning Rush." These programs were produced out of my bedroom during the years-long COVID-19 pandemic which required remote work.

Missouri Health Talks

<-- It's like a medical Story Corps!

Megan Anderson and Samantha Dyroff are medical students at the University of Missouri. They work with MedZou, a student-run health clinic in Columbia, Missouri. They spoke about a recently opened specialty clinic at MedZou that offers free and inclusive healthcare for transgender Missourians, and about what that clinic has meant to some of their patients.

Megan Anderson and Samantha Dyroff are medical students at the University of Missouri. They also both work with MedZou, a student-run health clinic in Columbia, Missouri. They spoke about some of the reasons the clinic exists, namely to provide care to Missouri’s chronically uninsured.

Jannis Evans and Devin Hursey work in HIV treatment and prevention and have served on committees advocating for people with HIV in Missouri and across the country. I met the duo at MO HIV Justice Coalition's legislative advocacy day where they were advocating for changes to Missouri's HIV criminalization laws. They spoke about some of the reasons HIV impacts communities of color at a higher rate.
